Giridih : Body of a minor girl and her lover was found hanging from a tree on Thursday in Motileda village under Bengabad Police Station area of this district in Jharkhand. Police said that a woman saw the bodies hanging from the tree after which she ran back and informed the fellow villagers.
Upon receiving information Police Inspector Sahdeo Prasad reached on the spot alongwith policemen and sent the bodies for post-mortem to Sadar Hospital Giridih.
The deceased have been identified as Rohini Kumari (13) and Jyotish Kumar Pasi (18). The police officer said the family members of the girl knew about her affair. The girl was a student of class 8th while the boy hailed from Chatabaad village. Police quoting locals said that the duo had met earlier in the day and later their bodies were found hanging.
