Chennai, February 7, 2025 – A Muscat to Kuala Lumpur flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Chennai on Friday after a passenger suffered a sudden medical emergency mid-flight. The passenger was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

According to reports, a passenger on board the Muscat-Kuala Lumpur flight started experiencing severe uneasiness and breathlessness while the aircraft was flying near Chennai airspace. Upon assessing the situation, the flight crew alerted the pilot, who immediately contacted Chennai International Airport to request emergency landing clearance.
Airport authorities promptly granted permission, prioritizing passenger safety. The flight successfully landed at Chennai International Airport around 2:00 PM. Following the emergency landing, medical teams swiftly transferred the ailing passenger to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care.
After ensuring the passenger’s well-being and completing all necessary procedures, the flight resumed its journey to Kuala Lumpur after a brief delay.
