Jaipur, March 21 – In a significant move for job seekers across Rajasthan, the Bhajanlal Sharma government has launched a recruitment drive for 53,749 fourth-class employee positions across the state. Applications are now open, with the last date to apply being April 19. The recruitment offers a major opportunity for 10th pass candidates to secure government jobs, with the exams scheduled from September 18 to 21.

District-Wise Distribution and Reservation Details
Out of the total vacancies, 48,199 posts are reserved for the non-scheduled areas and 5,550 posts for scheduled areas. The recruitment is being conducted by the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB). Board Chairman Alok Raj confirmed that the application process began on March 21, and applicants will be given an opportunity to correct their application forms post submission.
Eligibility Criteria and Age Relaxation
Candidates applying must have passed the 10th standard. The age limit for applicants is 18 to 40 years, calculated as of January 1, 2025. However, candidates from reserved categories will be granted age relaxation as per government norms.
Exam Pattern and Selection Process
The selection process will involve:
- Written Examination (Computer or tablet-based test)
- Document Verification
Key highlights of the examination include:
- The exam will be of two hours duration.
- Questions will be of 10th standard level.
- Subjects covered include General Hindi, English, General Knowledge, and Mathematics.
- The paper will be of 200 marks.
- Based on exam performance, twice the number of candidates will be called for the document verification round.

- General/OBC Creamy Layer: ₹600
- OBC Non-Creamy Layer/EWS (Rajasthan): ₹400
- SC/ST (Rajasthan): ₹400
Salary and Pay Matrix
Selected candidates will receive salary as per Pay Matrix Level-1, in accordance with state government rules for Class-IV employees.
