Mahindra XUV 700 EV : Mahindra recently spotted a near-production model of the Mahindra XUV700 Coupe EV front LED DRL spied
The XUV.e9 is the coupe version of the XUV.e8, the electric version of the XUV700 available in India. It is the flagship of Mahindra’s XUV.e series and promises great performance, including a top speed of over 200 km/h. This car has a new design language from Mahindra that is different from other cars from this company.
Front/exterior design
The taillights, sides and trunk of the XUV.e9 have been spotted before, but this is the first time the front end of the XUV.e9 has been seen in detail. XUV.e9’s previous spy shots covered a wider area and pretty much covered everything.
The dashboard is equipped with large double-bladed boomerang LED daytime running lights. We saw something similar with the recently introduced SUV XUV 3XO under 4 meters. LED daytime running lights are not connected to a special central light bar. The headlights are arranged vertically and are almost identical to the ones we saw on the XUV.e8 (non-coupe version).
Interior design
Inside, both the XUV.e8 and XUV.e9 have similar interiors. The dashboard is almost identical to the XUV700. However, the new model uses a third 10 to 25 inch touchscreen for the passenger seat. It also gets a new two-spoke steering wheel, similar to the Tata Nexon and Punch EV. The new center console is also better with a new design. As for the powertrain, Mahindra is expected to introduce it with the Thar Armada on August 15.
