Udaipur, July 12: Maharana Mewar Public School marked its 51st Foundation Day and Felicitation Ceremony with great enthusiasm at the historic Manak Chowk of the City Palace, Udaipur.

The ceremony commenced with the garlanding of the portrait of the school’s founder, Maharana Bhagwat Singh Ji Mewar. The event was graced by Chief Guest Lieutenant Colonel M.S. Rawat, Commanding Officer of the 5 Raj Girls Battalion NCC, Udaipur.
On this occasion, Director S.K. Sharma and CEO Mayank Gupta paid floral tribute to the founder and fondly remembered the devoted administration of the late Maharana Arvind Singh Mewar, who played a pivotal role in the school’s growth. They also acknowledged that the school continues to flourish under the visionary guidance of Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar.
Director Sharma administered the oath of allegiance to the newly appointed student council. The student leadership includes Senior Head Girl Ayushi Kawadia, Junior Head Girl Vidhi Jain, Senior Head Boy Audad Ahmed, Junior Head Boy Arnav Khatri, and Chief Marshal Samarveer Singh Medtiya. House captains, vice-captains, and the 40-member student representative council were also sworn in. The ceremony featured captivating performances including dance routines, group singing, and impressive pipe and brass band presentations.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Lt. Col. Rawat encouraged students not to limit their ambitions and to aim for the skies. He praised the school’s consistent dedication to cultural values and traditions, noting how these are clearly reflected in the students. He also appreciated the school’s comprehensive development and the high standards it maintains in all spheres.
The event was hosted by students Aradhya Sukhwal, Didita Gurjargaud, Chhavi Hasija, Amodini Sen, Hunar Bhatia, and Ashika Choudhary. Coordination was managed by teachers Seema Saxena, Parul Mehta, and Sarika Saxena.
