Mad Dog Terror in Banswara: 35 People Attacked in Four Hours

Banswara, November 2 (Udaipur Kiran) — Panic gripped Banswara district on Sunday after a mad dog went on a rampage in the Aabapura police station area, injuring at least 35 people within just four hours. The sudden attacks have left residents living in fear.

The incidents were reported from Dabri Maal village and nearby areas, where the dog began attacking people early in the morning and continued till late afternoon. In Dabri Maal alone, 11 people were injured, while 24 others from surrounding villages were rushed to the district hospital for treatment.

The victims include women, children, elderly, and youth. All have been admitted to the Banswara District Hospital, where doctors are providing continuous medical care. The sudden influx of patients created chaos in the hospital premises.

Villagers have urged the administration and the animal husbandry department to capture the dog immediately and strengthen security in the affected areas. Residents fear that if swift action is not taken, the dog could cause further serious incidents. Meanwhile, administrative teams have begun searching for the animal in the region.
