Mumbai, October 17 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) traded slightly higher on Friday after its wholly owned subsidiary, L&T Semiconductor Technologies (LTSCT), announced a strategic partnership with CP PLUS, India’s leading security and surveillance brand under Aditya Infotech (AIL).

At 11:45 AM, the stock was trading at ₹3866.00, up by ₹4.10 or 0.11%, compared to its previous close of ₹3861.90 on the BSE. The scrip opened at ₹3853.40 and touched a high of ₹3868.15 and a low of ₹3844.05, with around 18,848 shares traded so far.
The BSE ‘A’ group stock, with a face value of ₹2, has touched a 52-week high of ₹3963.00 on December 10, 2024, and a 52-week low of ₹2967.65 on April 7, 2025. The company’s market capitalization stands at ₹5,31,789.95 crore. Institutional investors hold 63.05%, while non-institutional investors own 36.95% of the company’s equity.
Under the new partnership, CP PLUS will manufacture nine million CCTV IP cameras over the next three years, powered by LTSCT’s indigenously designed Vision System-on-Chip (SoC) technology. The SoC supports high-resolution imaging up to eight megapixels, offering enhanced image clarity for critical surveillance applications.
These chips, designed entirely in India, feature advanced cryptographic architecture to ensure strong data protection and cybersecurity in surveillance networks. The initiative marks a major step toward India’s semiconductor self-reliance, aligning with the Government’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
