Lemon Tree Hotels Shares Rise After Signing HOA for New Property in Andhra Pradesh

Mumbai, December 30 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Lemon Tree Hotels moved higher on Monday after the company announced the signing of a Hotel Operation Agreement (HOA) for a new property in Andhra Pradesh. The stock was trading at ₹162.80, up by ₹2.60 or 1.62 per cent on the BSE.

The scrip opened at ₹159.25 and touched an intraday high of ₹163.60 and a low of ₹159.25. A total of 6,531 shares were traded during the session. The stock’s 52-week high stands at ₹180.60, recorded on September 8, 2025, while the 52-week low of ₹110.55 was hit on April 7, 2025. The company’s current market capitalisation stands at ₹12,727.44 crore.

Promoters hold a 22.28 per cent stake in the company, while institutional and non-institutional investors own 41.16 per cent and 36.56 per cent respectively.

Lemon Tree Hotels has executed a Hotel Operation Agreement for an upcoming property in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The hotel will be operated by Carnation Hotels, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels, under the brand name Lemon Tree Suites, subject to the execution of a formal licence agreement.

The upcoming property is located in Tirupati, one of India’s most prominent spiritual destinations, renowned for the Sri Venkateswara Temple, which attracts millions of pilgrims each year. The city is also known for its serene surroundings, rich cultural heritage, and well-developed pilgrimage infrastructure.

The hotel will feature 228 well-appointed rooms and suites, along with a restaurant, banquet and meeting facilities. Recreational amenities will include a swimming pool and a spa. The property is located approximately 10 km from Tirupati International Airport and about 6.3 km from Tirupati Railway Station, offering convenient connectivity for travellers.

Lemon Tree Hotels is India’s largest mid-priced hotel chain and the third-largest overall in terms of controlling interest in owned and leased rooms, further strengthening its footprint in key religious and leisure destinations across the country.
