Kota, April 15, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): Platform number 1 at Kota Railway Junction will remain closed for 20 days from April 15 to May 4 due to ongoing development work, railway officials said.

During this period, all trains scheduled to arrive or depart from platform 1 will be operated from other platforms. Some trains have been diverted, while others will operate from Sogaria station.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Jain advised passengers to check platform details through display boards, enquiry counters, or the NTES app before travel to avoid inconvenience.
Trains Diverted via Alternate Route:
Train numbers 14814 Bhopal–Jodhpur Express and 14813 Jodhpur–Bhopal Express will run via Gudla–Kota Chambal Cabin–Sogaria route between April 15 and early May.
Similarly, train numbers 12181 and 12182 Dayodaya Superfast Express will also be diverted through the same route during this period.
Trains Terminating at Sogaria Instead of Kota Junction:
Train numbers 11604 Bina–Kota MEMU, 19812 Etawah–Kota Express, 22984 Indore–Kota Superfast Express, and 61634 Bina–Kota MEMU will terminate at Sogaria station instead of Kota Junction.
MEMU Train to Operate from Sogaria:
Train number 61621 Kota–Sawai Madhopur MEMU will depart from Sogaria station instead of Kota Junction during the block period.
Railway authorities stated that these arrangements have been made to facilitate ongoing work while ensuring minimal disruption to passenger services.
