The ongoing debate in the film industry about working hours intensified after actress Deepika Padukone demanded an eight-hour work shift. Many artists have supported Deepika’s stance, and now actress Kiara Advani has openly shared her views on the matter. Kiara, who became a mother to daughter Saraiyah in July 2025, is now fully prepared to return to films with a clearer and more balanced perspective on work.
In a recent interview, Kiara emphasized the importance of mental health and work-life balance. She stated that continuous fatigue and stress are never beneficial for anyone working in any industry. According to Kiara, her professional approach is based on three principles – dignity, balance, and respect. These values apply equally to her co-actors as well as her household staff.
On the work front, Kiara will soon be seen alongside superstar Yash in the much-anticipated film ‘Toxic,’ scheduled for release in March 2026. The first look of the film starring Kiara has already received a warm response from the audience. Kiara mentioned that she is currently seeking new and powerful stories and is quite excited about an upcoming biopic project. She was last seen in the film ‘War 2’ with Hrithik Roshan.
