Mumbai, September 24 (Udaipur Kiran News): Shares of Kamat Hotels (India) (KHIL) edged higher on Wednesday after the company announced the opening of The Orchid Hotel, Panchgani, a 70-key property under a leased model. The stock was trading at Rs 321.80, up 0.25% from its previous close of Rs 321.00 on the BSE.

The counter opened at Rs 311.05 and touched an intraday high of Rs 324.90 and a low of Rs 311.05. A total of 2,445 shares were traded during the session. The company’s market capitalisation stands at Rs 948.67 crore.
Over the past year, the scrip has touched a 52-week high of Rs 368.95 (September 22, 2025) and a 52-week low of Rs 176.00 (October 25, 2024). On a weekly basis, it has traded between Rs 368.95 and Rs 305.60.
As per the shareholding pattern, promoters hold 57.78%, institutions 3.44%, and non-institutional investors 38.79%.
The new Orchid Hotel adds to KHIL’s portfolio in Maharashtra’s leisure and hill-station segment. The property includes 47 guest rooms, 23 luxury tent accommodations, a swimming pool, banquet hall, 20,000 sq. ft. open lawn, and a multi-cuisine all-day restaurant. Positioned as a premium getaway, the resort also aims to cater to destination weddings and private events in the scenic Panchgani hills.
