Udaipur : The Kavi Guru Express train from Udaipur to Kamakhya will run on a changed route via Katihar-Kumedpur-Mukheria starting Monday. The train will depart from Udaipur at 4:05 PM on Monday but will not stop at Barsoi and Kishanganj stations, which might cause inconvenience to passengers. However, there will be no change in the train’s schedule, and it will reach Kamakhya at the designated time. Similarly, the train departing from New Jalpaiguri at 8:25 AM on Monday will also operate via Mukheria-Kumedpur-Katihar. This change is due to maintenance work in the Northeast Frontier Railway.
Meanwhile, considering the passenger load, the railway has added a temporary third AC coach to the Chetak Express running between Udaipur and Delhi until August 2. Captain Shashi Kiran, the Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, informed that train number 20473/20474 Delhi Sarai-Udaipur City-Delhi Sarai Express will have the additional coach available until August 1. Additionally, the railway has increased temporary coaches in three pairs of trains within the state.
