Jodhpur, April 15, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): Electricity supply will remain suspended for around two and a half hours in several parts of Jodhpur city on Thursday due to maintenance work on power lines.
According to the electricity department, the scheduled shutdown is being carried out in areas connected to the 33/11 KV Sursagar-2 and Kabir Nagar substations. Supply will be restored after completion of the work.
Power Cut Timing: 8:30 am to 11:00 am
In the Sursagar-2 substation area, the affected localities include Radio Phata, Noorantiya, Kaluram Ji Bavdi, Vyapariyon Ka Mohalla, Rakasani, Sindhiyon Ki Gali, Bhakri Bypass Road, Old Bhakri Bas, New Bhakri Bas, and Bhujwaton Ka Vas.
In the Kabir Nagar substation area, power supply will remain disrupted in Tulsi Colony, Kabir Nagar, Meghwal Basti, Rambagh Harijan Basti, Ramdev Petrol Pump area, PHED Pump, Surajmal Hospital area, Kutton Ka Bada, Dharmwaton Ka Bas, and nearby localities.
The department stated that the maintenance work is essential for smooth functioning of power lines and equipment, and will help prevent technical issues in the future. Residents have been advised to complete important tasks in advance.
