Beginning April 1, Jio customers will be required to subscribe to JioHotstar plans to continue watching live sports, movies, and entertainment shows.

Until now, Jio provided free Hotstar access bundled with select prepaid and postpaid plans, especially popular during the IPL season. The offer, which was widely used by cricket fans and binge-watchers alike, expires on March 31, 2025.
