JioBharat J1 4G launched in India. It was launched in the country as an entry-level phone that supports 4G connectivity. The phone is the company’s budget offering that supports Jio’s special JioBharat plan. It comes pre-installed with apps like JioTV, JioCinema and JioPay. The phone also comes with a rear camera and is currently available in the country. It will complement the JioBharat B1 4G launched in October 2023.

The JioBharat J1 4G comes with a 2.8-inch display and a physical keyboard with dedicated navigation and buttons to answer and reject calls. The phone runs on Threadx RTOS and supports 0.13GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB.
The Rs 123 Jio 4G recharge plan offers unlimited voice calls and 14GB data per month. With the pre-installed JioTV app, users can access more than 455 channels, including many regional channels. They can also access simple UPI transactions using the JioPay app.
The JioBharat J1 4G comes with a 2500mAh battery and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone measures 135 x 56 x 16 mm and weighs 122 grams. On the back there is a digital camera unit for the optics. The camera also allows users to scan QR codes that can be used for online payments.
