City, February 15: Reliance Jio, India’s largest telecom operator, has introduced a Rs 579 prepaid plan tailored for users seeking a medium-term validity option. This plan is designed to fit comfortably within most budgets while providing a substantial amount of data. Although it does not include 5G data, many users may not require 5G services at this time.
The Rs 579 prepaid plan offers unlimited voice calling, 1.5GB of daily data, and 100 SMS per day, with a service validity of 56 days. Additionally, subscribers receive access to JioTV and JioAICloud, along with an 18-month subscription to Google Gemini AI Pro, valued at Rs 35,100, at no extra cost. Once the fair usage policy (FUP) data is exhausted, the speed will reduce to 64 Kbps. To maintain access to the Google Gemini offer, users must remain on a daily data plan of Rs 299 or higher.
For those looking for more economical options, Jio also offers a basic 1.5GB daily data plan starting at Rs 239, which includes unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day, but lacks the Google Gemini subscription. Other plans are available at various price points, including Rs 299, Rs 319, Rs 329, Rs 666, and Rs 889, but currently, there are no options providing 1.5GB of daily data for an entire year.
