The latest Jio Bharat J1 4G model is priced at Rs 1,799. The new phone feature is currently only available on Amazon’s e-commerce platform and is not listed on the company’s Reliance Digital and JioMart websites.
Considering the price, Jio Bharat J1 4G is higher than Jio Bharat B2 in terms of features and price. Meanwhile, the JioPhone Prima priced at Rs 2,599 remains one of the flagship features of the Jio phone.
Jio Bharat J1 4G Feature Phone: Key Features
According to the Amazon listing, the Jio Bharat J1 4G features a 2.8-inch display and combines performance with affordability. The phone supports HD calling, UPI payments with JioMoney and access to OTT services like Jio Cinema.
This new phone has a removable 2500mAh battery that can last a long time on a single charge. Other features of this phone include a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones, a 0.3 megapixel rear camera, a flashlight, FM radio and up to 128GB of expandable storage via microSD card.
It is important to note that the Jio Bharat J1 is a Jio SIM locked phone and requires a Jio SIM card to function. This single SIM device supports 23 Indian languages, making it accessible to a diverse user base.
One of the highlights of the Jio Bharat J1 is its 4G VoLTE support, which enables enhanced voice calling over Jio’s 4G network. The phone also comes pre-installed with Jio apps that extend its functionality beyond simple calling and texting.
Jio Bharat J1 supports over-the-top (OTT) services like JioTV, which allows users to stream more than 455 live TV channels. Users can also access JioCinema on their phone to watch movies, movies and sports highlights.
Jio also offers JioBharat plans for the phone for Rs 100. This plan offers users unlimited calling and 14GB data per month with a validity of 28 days.
