Bengaluru :Siddu Nyamegouda,Jamakhandi Congress MLA passed away early in the morning today when he met with a ghastly accident near Tulasigeri village under Kaladagi police station in Bagalkote district.He was 70 years old. He was well known as ”Barrage Siddu” for being in the forefront of constructing the Chikkapadasalagi Barrage with voluntary services of farmers in the region without awaiting for any governmental help to build the same.He was elected to the Assembly for the second time and was returning from New Delhi via Goa when he met the fatal accident.
