The iQOO Z9s series has been confirmed to launch in India on August 21st. Ahead of the launch, the Chinese smartphone brand revealed the design of both smartphones on its website. At the same time, the company also confirmed that the iQOO Z9s Pro model will come with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. It was previously announced that the base model will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. In addition, both devices are sold on Amazon.
Design of the iQOO Z9s released
The company presented the designs of its iQOQ Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro models on its website. We also showed a semi-hidden image (that hides the camera module) of the base model on X (formerly called Twitter). In the post, the company confirmed that the smartphone will be available in Onyx Green color. According to the company, the colors feature a marble pattern and a glossy finish.
In the images on the website, the smartphone has a dual rear camera in the top half of an oval module. The bottom half is equipped with a ring LED flash. In addition to the camera module, we also saw a dual-LED flash. The bottom half of the device was branded iQOO.
As for the iQOO Z9s Pro, the website listing features a white marble-like finish and an orange leather finish. The first is called “Luxury Marble” and the second is called “Fluor Orange”. The Pro model features a rectangular camera module with a silver border and rounded metal edges on the top half.
This module includes settings for two rear cameras. The primary camera is confirmed to be a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS support, while the secondary camera is confirmed to be an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The company also announced that the smartphone will come with the 3rd generation Snapdragon 7 chipset. The smartphone also has several artificial intelligence (AI) features focused on the camera, including AI Erase and AI Photo Enhance.
Both devices will go on sale in India from August 21st. According to the company, the iQOO Z9s series will be sold online via Amazon and the company’s website.
