New Delhi, September 4 (Kiran News): Apple is set to unveil its flagship iPhone 17 series on September 9, which is expected to include the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the all-new iPhone 17 Air. Ahead of the launch, fresh reports have shed light on the expected pricing of the upcoming models.

While earlier speculation suggested a steep price hike across the lineup, a new report from JPMorgan indicates that the increase may be more modest than feared, with only the iPhone 17 Pro expected to see a clear price change.
According to the report, the iPhone 17 Pro will start at $1,099 (around ₹96,839) — $100 (approx. ₹8,811) more than last year. However, the bump is offset by Apple’s decision to double the base storage from 128GB to 256GB, keeping it nearly in line with the iPhone 16 Pro’s 256GB variant pricing.
Other models are likely to retain near-similar pricing:
-
iPhone 17 – starting at $799 (approx. ₹70,404), same as the iPhone 16.
-
iPhone 17 Air – expected at $949 (approx. ₹83,620), about $50 higher than the iPhone 16 Plus, justified by its slimmer frame and refreshed design.
-
iPhone 17 Pro Max (256GB) – expected at $1,199 (approx. ₹1,05,659), unchanged from its predecessor.
The reported prices are based on the U.S. market, and it remains unclear how Apple will adjust pricing in other regions, including India.
With the launch event just days away, anticipation is high to see whether the iPhone 17 lineup delivers upgrades that justify the price tags, particularly for the Pro models.
