iPhone 16 Pro Max Dummy Unit Images Leak Hinting at Larger Display Than iPhone 15 Pro Max
According to recent reports, the iPhone 16 Pro Max could launch later this year with a larger display compared to Apple’s current-generation flagship phones. This time, along with the iPhone 15 Pro Max, an image of a fake device purported to be this device has been leaked online.
According to an image shared by one of the X consultants (ex-Twitter), this year’s phone could have a slightly larger screen. There is also information that Apple’s iPhone 16 series will have a special “Capture” button, which can also be seen in the leaked image.

An information source called Majin Bu (X: @MajunBuOfficial) has leaked three images of the alleged iPhone 16 Pro Max. For comparison, this image shows a model unit of the device next to the current generation flagship, the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
According to reports, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch display, making the screen 0.2 mm larger than the previous model.
Although the images show a slight increase in size, it is unlikely that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be significantly larger than the current generation iPhone 15 Pro Max. Nothing can be said about the frame based on the dummy unit. We also don’t know if the screen upgrade will allow the company to offer a higher resolution.
The leaked model shows a slightly taller rear camera module than the larger iPhone 15 Pro Max model. However, based on the leaked images of the model device, it is still too early to say whether the rear camera of the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be larger or higher.
Another hardware addition to the iPhone 16 series, Apple’s rumored record button also appears on the iPhone 16 Pro Max model.
According to previous reports, all four models in the iPhone 16 series are expected to feature the new button, while the action button on the iPhone 15 Pro models could also make its way to the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus this year.
