Udaipur : In what will be music to the ears of sports fans of the region, national football team captain and one of the most well-known faces of Indian football, Sunil Chhetri is all set to visit Udaipur on 27th July.
The talismanic striker and Asian icon will be visiting Hindustan Zinc’s initiative Zinc Football Academy in Zawar this Saturday. Chhetri, who is India’s most capped player and all-time top goal scorer for the country, has planned to spend the day with the young footballers of the Academy who have recently conquered the Subroto Cup Qualifiers in both the Under-14 and Under-17 levels, and are now all set to represent Rajasthan at the National level in the prestigious tournament.
Chhetri will also take a tour of the facilities and experience first-hand the world-class infrastructure at the Zinc Football Academy. At the core of Zinc Football is a full-fledged residential academy where 40 young footballers are training currently with top-of-the-line facilities and the country’s first-ever ‘technology-hinged football training’ – the unique F-Cube technology.
