Udaipur, May 19 — The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Udaipur Branch, organised a one-day educational seminar focused on the stock market, aimed at enriching the knowledge of investors and professionals. The seminar saw the participation of expert speakers from Mumbai and marked a significant milestone as several branch members received appointments to ICAI’s prestigious national committees for 2025–2026.

Expert-Led Sessions Focused on Investment and SME IPOs
ICAI Udaipur Branch Chairman CA Rahul Maheshwari shared that two expert speakers from Mumbai conducted knowledge-rich sessions during the event.
In the first session, CA Manish Sonthalia spoke on the theme “Margin of Safety in Equity Markets.” Drawing from his hands-on experience, he emphasised that maintaining a margin of safety is a core principle that investors must follow to minimise risks and maximise returns.
The second session, led by CA Gautam Lath, focused on SME IPOs (Small and Medium Enterprises Initial Public Offerings). He explained the process and potential of SME IPOs in simple language, highlighting how the sector is rapidly emerging as a viable investment avenue.
