New Delhi – The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released a notification for the recruitment of 10,277 Clerk posts under IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025 (CRP CSA-XV). The online application process has commenced from 1st August on the official websites www.ibps.in and ibpsonline.ibps. Interested candidates can apply online until the last date, 21st August 2025. The application link is now active.
IBPS released the detailed notification for this large-scale recruitment drive in government banks late Thursday night. The deadline for submitting application fees is also 21st August. The preliminary examination is scheduled for October 2025, while the main examination will be conducted in November 2025. Notably, IBPS had renamed the post of Clerk to Customer Service Associate (CSA) in 2024.
10 Key Highlights of IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025
1. Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit
Candidates who have completed graduation from any recognised institution and are between 20 to 28 years of age are eligible to apply. Applicants should be born no earlier than 2nd August 1997 and no later than 1st August 2005.
There is a relaxation of five years for SC/ST candidates and three years for OBC candidates in the upper age limit.
2. Salary Structure
Basic pay starts from ₹24,050 and follows the scale: ₹24,050-1340/3-28070-1650/3-33020-2000/4-41020-2340/7-57400-4400/1-61800-2680/1-64480.
3. Selection Process and Preliminary Exam Pattern
Selection will be based on an online preliminary exam and an online main exam.

5. Negative Marking
Both prelims and mains will have objective tests. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

The final merit list will be prepared solely based on marks obtained in the main examination.
7. State-Wise Application Rule
A candidate can apply for only one state. However, the exam centre may be allotted in another state.
