IAS Officers Transferred in Bihar, New Assignments for 16 Officials

Patna, June 22: The General Administration Department of the Bihar government has announced the transfer and new appointments of 16 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. This significant reshuffle involves officers from the 2010 to 2020 batches, who have been assigned responsibilities in various key departments and corporations.

Under the transfer orders, Animesh Kumar Parashar from the 2010 batch has been given additional charge as the Secretary of the Urban Development and Housing Department. Topshat Kapil Ashok from the 2011 batch has been appointed as the Managing Director of COMFED, Patna, while Nilesh Ramchandra Deore will continue as the Additional Secretary in the Urban Development and Housing Department.

Naval Kishore Chaudhary from the 2013 batch has been appointed as the Managing Director of Bihar State Transmission Company Limited, Patna. Navdeep Shukla has been assigned as the Special Secretary for the Youth Employment and Skill Development Department, and Pawan Kumar Sinha will serve as the Special Secretary for the Higher Education Department.

Saurabh Jorwal from the 2014 batch has been given additional charge of the Bihar State Road Development Corporation Limited, while Kumar Mangalam has been appointed as the Secretary of the Revenue Council, Bihar, Patna.

Prashant Kumar CH from the 2015 batch will continue as the Project Director of the Bihar Education Project Council. Vishal Raj from the 2017 batch has been appointed as the Managing Director of Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited. Spardh Gupta from the 2019 batch has been made the Additional Executive Director of the State Health Society, Patna.

Among the 2020 batch officers, Shreshth Anupam has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Finance Department; Abhishek Palasia as Joint Secretary in the Road Construction Department; Pradeep Singh as Joint Secretary in the Tourism Department; and Kumar Nishant Vivek as the Director of Primary Education, Bihar, Patna. Additionally, Ananya Singh has been appointed as the Additional Chief Executive Officer of Jeevika (Rural Development Department) and has also been given the additional charge of Commissioner of MGNREGA.
