The Indian electric vehicle (EV) market has witnessed rapid growth in 2024, with several high-profile launches such as the Tata Punch EV, Tata Curvv EV, and the Mahindra BE 6. Continuing this momentum, Hyundai is set to unveil its highly anticipated Hyundai Creta EV in January 2025, marking its third electric offering in India after the Kona Electric and Ioniq 5.

With the Creta being one of Hyundai’s best-selling models, the electric variant aims to capitalize on the SUV’s strong brand equity, making it a key pillar in Hyundai’s EV strategy for the Indian market.

Exterior Design: Familiar Yet Futuristic

The Hyundai Creta EV will retain much of the current Creta’s recognizable styling while introducing subtle updates to distinguish it as an EV.
