Huawei Pura 70 Ultra, Huawei Pura 70 Pro+, Huawei Pura 70 Pro and Huawei Pura 70 were unveiled on Thursday (April 18) as the Shenzhen-based manufacturer’s latest flagship devices.
This new phone runs HarmonyOS 4.2 operating system and has up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The Huawei Pura 70 Ultra, Huawei Pura 70 Pro+ and Huawei Pura 70 feature a 6.8-inch OLED LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The USP camera is the new Pura series.
The Huawei Pura 70 Ultra features a 1-inch retractable lens camera with a variable aperture from f/1.6 to f/4.0. It offers dual-satellite connectivity and supports wired fast charging up to 100W.
The Huawei Pura 70 Ultra has a 5200mAh battery while the Huawei Pura 70 Pro has a 5050mAh battery. The new phones are the first devices from this company to be marketed under the Pura brand.

Prices for the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra start at 9,999 yuan (approximately Rs. 115,000) for the 16GB + 512GB storage variant and 10,999 yuan (approximately Rs. 126,800) for the 16GB + 1TB storage variant. Available in Chanson Green, Mocha Brown, Starburst White and Starburst Black (translated from Chinese).
The Huawei Pura 70 Pro+ starts at CNY 7,999 (approximately Rs. 92,000) for the 512GB variant and CNY 8,999 (approximately Rs. 103,000) for the 1TB storage variant. Color options include Lightweave Silver, Phantom Black, and String White (translated from Chinese). Both models are currently available in China.
The Huawei Pura 70 starts at CNY 5,499 (roughly Rs. 64,000) for the base 12GB RAM + 256GB variant and goes up to CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 80,000) for the 1TB option. Color options include Cherry Rose Red, Ice Crystal Blue, Snow White and Sand Feather Black (translated from Chinese).
The price of the Huawei Pura 70 ranges from CNY 6,499 (approximately Rs. 74,000) for the base 12GB RAM + 256GB model to CNY 7,999 (approximately Rs. 92,000) for the 1TB model. Available in Roland Purple, Snow White and Feather Sand Black (translated from Chinese).

Dual-SIM (Nano) Huawei Pura 70 Ultra and Huawei Pura 70 Pro+ run on HarmonyOS 4.2. Features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ OLED LTPO display (1260 x 2844 pixels) with adaptive refresh rate (from 1 Hz to 120 Hz), 1440 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 300 Hz touch sampling Rate and 460 ppi demmming.
The screen has Kunlun glass protection. The chipset of this new phone has not been revealed by the brand yet, but it is widely speculated to be the latest Kirin 9010 chipset. There are 16GB of RAM and 512GB or 1TB storage options. This phone does not have the ability to expand the memory card.
Huawei Pura 70 Ultra and Huawei Pura 70 Pro+ have a triple rear camera with LED flash. The primary camera setup includes a 1-inch 50-megapixel retractable main sensor with variable aperture from f/1.6 to f/4.0, a 40-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto -Macro sensor.
Optical image stabilizer and autofocus. On the other hand, the Huawei Pura 70 Pro+ has a 50-megapixel sensor with OIS support, a 12.5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 48-megapixel telephoto macro camera. Both phones have a 13-megapixel sensor on the front.
Connectivity options for Huawei Pura 70 Ultra and Huawei Pura 70 Pro include Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Beidou, NavIC and USB. Port C for charging the sensors on it includes gravity sensor, infrared sensor (IR), Hall sensor, gyroscope, compass, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication. It also features an IP68 dustproof and waterproof structure.
Huawei Pura 70 Ultra and Huawei Pura 70 Pro+ offer dual satellite connectivity, allowing users to make and receive calls and send SMS via the satellite system.
Huawei uses a 5200 mAh battery in the Pura 70 Ultra and a 5050 mAh battery in the Pura 70 Pro+. It supports 100W wired fast charging and 18W reverse wired charging. Both models support 80W wireless fast charging and 20W reverse wireless charging.
