Huawei Nova Flip was launched in China as the first foldable phone in the Nova series. This foldable phone features a 2.14-inch square external display and a 6.94-inch internal display. Huawei Nova Flip is available in four color options and comes with HarmonyOS 4.2 operating system. Huawei hasn’t revealed the chipset of its latest foldable phone, but it’s believed to be powered by the Kirin 8000 chip. It has a lightweight build with a thickness of 6.88mm (unfolded) and a 50MP dual camera on the back.

The Huawei Nova Flip costs CNY 5,288 (approximately Rs. 62,000) in the 256 GB version. The 512GB model is priced at CNY 5,688 (approximately Rs. 66,000) and the 1TB model is priced at CNY 6,488 (approximately Rs. 75,000). You can choose from New Green, Sakura Pink, Zero White and Star Black. The device is currently available for pre-order in China and is scheduled to go on sale on August 10th.

Huawei Nova Flip Dual SIM (Nano) runs on HarmonyOS 4.2. It features an integrated 6.4-inch Full HD+ OLED LTPO display (1136 x 2690 pixels) with an adaptive refresh rate of 1 Hz to 120 Hz, high-frequency PWM dimming of 1440 Hz, a touch sampling Rate of 300 Hz at 19 pixels and 4 pixels. It has a 2.14-inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels and a pixel density of 318 ppi. The new phone’s chipset and RAM capacity have not yet been revealed by the brand, but it is widely speculated to be the latest Kirin 8000 processor. It is available in 256, 512 and 1TB storage options.
In terms of optics, the Huawei Nova Flip is equipped with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP RYYB main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. This camera is equipped with a 32 megapixel camera for selfies and video chat.
Connectivity options on the Huawei Nova Flip include: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Beidou, NavIC, OTG and USB Type-C port for Charge . . The sensors in this layer include ambient light sensor, compass, color temperature sensor, gravity sensor, gyroscope, hall sensor and proximity sensor. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the side for authentication.
Huawei has equipped the Huawei Nova Flip model with a 4400 mAh battery and supports 66W wired charging. The thickness when open is 6.88 mm and the weight is 195 grams.
