Jio has launched its new wireless internet service, JioAirFiber, in eight Indian cities and has plans to expand coverage further. JioAirFiber offers six plans with high-speed internet and access to over-the-top (OTT) streaming services.
JioAirFiber booking process
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to book a JioAirFiber connection:
- Check availability: Check if JioAirFiber service is available in your area by visiting the Jio website, the My Jio app, or by contacting Jio customer support.
- Initiate booking: To book a new connection, you can follow any of these options:
- Give a missed call to 60008-60008 to begin booking through WhatsApp.
- Visit the official Jio website at jio.com.
- Visit the Jio app.
- Visit your nearest Jio Store in person.
- Register for JioAirFiber: Complete the registration process by filling up the required details.
- Await confirmation: Once submitted, Jio will get in touch with you as soon as the services become available in your building or location.
Once booked, you will receive your JioAirFiber connection, which includes a Wi-Fi router, 4K Smart Set-Top Box, and a voice-activated remote.
JioAirFiber installation prices
Jio offers the AirFiber connection without any additional charges. So users will only need to pay for the Jio AirFiber plans and the installation fee.

With the launch of JioAirFiber, the company has also introduced six AirFiber plans with fast speed internet and added benefits. The Jio AirFiber plans come under two categories: Airfiber and AirFiber Max plans.
Jio AirFiber plans: In this category, Jio is offering three plans priced at Rs 599, Rs 899, and Rs 1199, respectively. These plans include up to 100 Mbps fast-speed internet data, along with additional benefits such as access to over 550 digital channels and 14 OTT apps. The Rs 1199 plan also includes a free subscription of Netflix, Amazon Prime, and JioCinema Premium.
Jio AirFiber Max plans: Within this category, Jio is offering three plans priced at Rs 1499, Rs 2499, and Rs 3999, respectively. The plans offer up to 1Gbps internet data speeds and a host of additional benefits, including access to over 550 digital channels and 14 OTT apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and JioCinema Premium. Notably, JioAirFiber Max will be available in select areas.
