Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is in Mongolia on a 3-day visit to further India’s relations with the Central Asian country and strengthen security cooperation.
Mongolia is an important strategic partner for India. He attended the ground breaking ceremony of an oil refinery at Altanshiree Soum in Dor-no-gobi province with the Prime Minister of Mongolia, U Khurelsukh.
This refinery project has been financed by the Government of India through a Line of Credit of One Billion USD.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajnath Singh described the refinery as a milestone in Mongolia’s growth story.
