Hindustan Zinc Stall Becomes Major Attraction at Flower Exhibition

Udaipur (Udaipur Kiran): The flower exhibition being held at Fatehsagar Lake, jointly organised by the district administration and the Udaipur Development Authority with the support of Hindustan Zinc, has emerged as a major attraction for visitors. The 10-day exhibition was inaugurated by Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria, drawing large crowds of locals and tourists alike.

As the exhibition continues, the vibrant display of rare and colourful flowers has transformed the Fatehsagar promenade into a visual delight. Alongside the floral arrangements, the stall set up by Hindustan Zinc has emerged as a key highlight, attracting significant attention from visitors.

Hindustan Zinc showcased its range of products including EcoZen and items produced by women under its Sakhi initiative. Products from Sakhi groups such as Daichi, Upaya, and Goyam Dairy received an enthusiastic response from visitors. The stall featured a variety of items including pickles, namkeens, spices, pulses, handcrafted garments, textile-based products, Ajrakh-printed fabrics, and accessories.

In addition, live demonstrations of traditional block printing and the age-old bilona method of preparing ghee became major crowd-pullers, offering visitors a glimpse into traditional craftsmanship and sustainable practices.

The exhibition has successfully combined environmental awareness, cultural heritage, and local entrepreneurship, making it a major attraction for both residents and tourists visiting the city.
