Ranchi, June 25 — The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall for parts of southwestern Jharkhand on June 26, with a Yellow Alert issued for multiple districts.
Districts likely to be affected include East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, and Latehar, according to the IMD.
In addition, thunderstorms accompanied by winds reaching speeds of 30-40 km/h are also expected through June 28 across these areas.
