Jaipur, May 11, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) – Severe heat conditions continue across Rajasthan, with the Meteorological Centre in Jaipur warning that heatwave conditions and warm nights are likely to persist for the next four to five days in several districts.

According to the weather department, Barmer recorded the highest maximum temperature in the state on Monday at 47.3 degrees Celsius.
Other major temperature readings included Phalodi at 46.8 degrees Celsius, Jaisalmer at 46.5 degrees, Bikaner at 45.3 degrees, Jodhpur at 44.9 degrees and Chittorgarh at 44.2 degrees Celsius.
A red alert for heatwave conditions during both day and night has been issued for Balotra, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Phalodi, Baran, Bundi and Chittorgarh districts on Tuesday.
The department stated that several areas in the Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions may continue to experience heatwave and extremely warm night conditions over the next five days.
In south-eastern Rajasthan, temperatures are also expected to remain between 43 and 45 degrees Celsius. Officials said hot winds and above-normal night temperatures are likely at several places across the state.
