Mumbai, October 6 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of HDFC Bank edged higher in Monday’s session after the lender reported a strong 15.1% year-on-year growth in its average deposits for the September 2025 quarter.

The stock is currently trading at ₹970.70, up by ₹5.95 or 0.62% from its previous close of ₹964.75 on the BSE. It opened at ₹973.40 and touched an intraday high of ₹975.50 and a low of ₹962.15. A total of 1,16,159 shares have been traded so far.
The BSE Group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of ₹1, has recorded a 52-week high of ₹1018.15 (on July 30, 2025) and a 52-week low of ₹806.70 (on October 7, 2024). Over the past week, the stock has traded between ₹975.50 and ₹939.05. The bank’s market capitalisation stands at ₹14,90,278.76 crore.
As per shareholding data, institutional investors hold 84.79%, while non-institutional investors own 15.21%.
For the September 2025 quarter, HDFC Bank’s average deposits stood at ₹27,105 billion, marking a 15.1% growth from ₹23,540 billion in the September 2024 quarter, and a 2% rise over ₹26,576 billion in the June 2025 quarter.
The bank’s average advances under management were ₹27,946 billion, up 9% year-on-year from ₹25,639 billion, and 1.9% higher compared to ₹27,423 billion in the previous quarter.
Average CASA deposits rose to ₹8,770 billion, reflecting 8.5% growth over ₹8,084 billion a year ago and 1.9% growth from ₹8,604 billion in the June 2025 quarter.
