HCL Technologies has launched an AI-powered nano Global Capability Center (GCC) offering, built on Amazon Web Services (AWS), to help enterprises move from AI experimentation to high-value business outcomes. The nano GCC model is part of HCLTech’s GCC 360 solution suite and combines HCLTech’s GCC advisory capabilities and its AI platforms including AI Force.
The model is designed for two enterprise archetypes. First enterprise archetype is established GCCs already operating in-country on largely conventional work that need a non-disruptive vehicle to drive AI-led transformation through a hub-and-spoke model anchored from HCLTech’s Lucknow campus. Second enterprise archetype is mid-market enterprises without an in-country presence that are cautious about entering a new geography and want a low-risk platform to accelerate their AI journey. In both use cases, it enables organizations to begin with a targeted scope, establish AI-native operating models and reduce setup cycles, while demonstrating value and scaling progressively.
Unlike traditional GCC models built around a broad scope and scale, the nano GCC model is designed around compact, product-centric squads, AI-enabled workflows and a land-and-expand approach. The offering spans AI-native engineering, autonomous IT operations, advanced data and analytics, and intelligent business operations, with responsible AI governance built in. The company leads the operating model design and implementation, while AWS provides joint go-to-market support and access to agentic AI services including Amazon Bedrock, Kiro, and AWS Transform, to accelerate delivery.
HCL Technologies is primarily engaged in providing a range of IT and business services, engineering and R&D services and modernized software products and IP-led offerings.
