Apparently Android 15 is making it easier to access Google’s Circle to Search feature on devices with larger screens like tablets. The visual search feature was only available on Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series in January, but has since been rolled out to additional Android devices. With the latest Android 15 Beta 3 released on Tuesday, you can now easily access Circle to Search using the function keys on your Google Pixel tablet.

According to a report from Android Authority, the latest Android 15 Beta 3 update supports Circle to Search action keys on Google Pixel tablets. Users can choose between two different taskbar styles: temporary and permanent. The latter gives you access to Circle to Search.
Currently, users can access the “Search in Circle” option by tapping and holding on the navigation screen. After updating to Android 15 Beta 3, a new pop-up window appears when you swipe up on the fixed style taskbar. You’ll see a notification that says “Hold the action button to browse what’s on your screen.”
Alternatively, the report suggests that Google’s “Circle to Search” feature can also be enabled when using the temporary taskbar.
In addition to this feature, Google is also developing the ability to invoke Circle to Search when using split screen mode. The function should be found in the Pixel Launcher beta program after the Android 15 update.
Look for new features in the rings
Google’s AI-powered visual search feature is reportedly adding several new features, including the ability to read content out loud and hints at the possibility of text-to-speech functionality. This feature was discovered when uninstalling Google Beta app APK version 15.20.36.29.
The report suggests that two other features (Lists and Select All) could also be adopted from Google Lens and applied to search in Circle. In the lens, Listen reads highlighted text, while Select All highlights text that appears in the image or the camera’s viewfinder.
