The Google Pixel 8 series is set to launch in India soon, and it has now been listed on Flipkart ahead of its launch on October 4. The listing confirms that pre-orders for the new phones will begin on October 5, just a day after they launch.

The Flipkart landing page for the Pixel 8 series says that the new phones will feature “Google AI and the most advanced Pixel camera yet.” It also mentions the Magic Eraser tool, which allows users to remove unwanted objects from a photo’s background.
Press renders of the Pixel 8 series were leaked earlier this week, and they show the two phones in different colors. The Pixel 8 is expected to come in four different colors, while the Pixel 8 Pro will have three different color variants.
The Pixel 8 is rumored to have a 6.17-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pixel 8 Pro is expected to have a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 3120×1440 pixel resolution. Both phones are expected to have 50-megapixel primary rear cameras, and the Pixel 8 Pro is also likely to have a 64-megapixel and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
The Pixel 8 is expected to launch at a price of EUR 799 euros (around Rs. 70,200), while the Pixel 8 Pro’s starting price is tipped to be EUR 1099 (roughly Rs. 96,500). However, these are just speculations at this point, and all details will be confirmed by Google on October 4, when the phones launch.
