Google offering 360-degree preview of Google Pixel 8 weeks before official launch

Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will be released worldwide on October 4th. The software giant answered all design questions long before the official launch. Spotted by Jose Ruben and covered by Mishal Rahman at X, the official Pixel 8 Pro page features a 360-degree preview of the phone.

As an old leak suggests, the Pixel 8 Pro is similar to the Pixel 7 Pro, with a horizontal camera bar on the back and a punch-hole display. There are still three cameras on the back.

The site also has special spots to help users and potential customers get an idea of what the smartphone will look like. However, the company has not yet officially announced the specifications. The similar design makes sense as Google doesn’t seem to want to shift its focus from its first foldable phone, the Pixel Fold, which is already available in some markets.

The site also highlights three color options for the Pixel 8 Pro: Sky (blue), China (white), and Licorice (black). The front frames appear slimmer. This year, the rear camera strip uses the same color as the rest of the case, giving it a more luxurious and minimalistic look.

The rear camera is housed in a long, pill-shaped recess. Google also revealed that the Pixel 8 Pro has a temperature sensor on the back. In addition to software and tricks related to artificial intelligence, Google can also release new functions.

According to leaks and rumors, the Pixel 8 Pro could feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ 120Hz LTPO OLED display. There might be an 11-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The rear camera could have three camera sensors: a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 64-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 49-megapixel telephoto camera. This phone could have a combination of glass and metal, much like last year’s Pixel 7 Pro.

The Pixel 8 Pro is set to increase in price this year. The Pixel 7 Pro was launched at a price of Rs 84,999.
