Goodyear India is going to shut down its plant situated in NCR i.e. Ballabgarh, Haryana State and the boiler operations of the plant use coal and biomass fuel to manufacture the products, from November 4, 2018 till November 10, 2018 (both days inclusive), in compliance with the directions issued by Environment Pollution (Prevention & Control) Authority (EPCA). The said directions inter-alia provides that ‘All the industrial using coal and biomass as fuel (excluding thermal and waste to Energy Plants) to remain closed in Delhi and other NCR districts.
