Kulgam, July 7 (Udaipur Kiran) – In a major anti-terror operation that began on Saturday in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, security forces successfully neutralized five terrorists, while two soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice.
First Encounter in Chinnigam
The initial encounter occurred in the Chinnigam area of Kulgam district. During this fierce gunfight, four terrorists were killed. Unfortunately, one soldier succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at the hospital. On Sunday morning, the body of another terrorist was found in the Chinnigam area. A senior police officer confirmed that search operations by the security forces are still ongoing in the region to ensure complete safety.
Second Encounter in Mudragam
In another encounter in the Mudragam area of Kulgam district, an initial exchange of fire led to the martyrdom of a soldier. As of now, there have been no reports of any terrorists being killed in this specific operation. However, search and combing operations are still active in the area to locate any remaining threats.
