Udaipur, (Kiran News): The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Sai Tirupati University, located in Umarda. President Dr. Prashant Nahar, Registrar Dr. Devendra Jain, and PIMS Principal Dr. Suresh Goyal hoisted the national flag. Addressing the principals of constituent colleges, doctors, faculty, staff, and students present at the ceremony, Dr. Nahar said that Independence Day is a day of pride, honour, and self-reflection. He emphasized that everyone should remember the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and understand the true value of freedom.

Dr. Nahar called upon today’s students and teachers to contribute to the nation’s growth and progress with their abilities, dedication, and a positive outlook, understanding their responsibilities towards society and the country, to help realize the vision of a developed and self-reliant India.
On this occasion, the university management honoured faculty members, doctors, and staff from various departments for their year-long service and achievements.
The main attraction of the celebration was a vibrant cultural programme filled with patriotic spirit, presented by the university’s students. The event was coordinated by Dr. Dilip Parik, Dr. Narendra Goyal, Tasneem Haider, and the University Cultural Board.
