Extra Trips Announced for Mysuru-Madar Summer Special Train

Chittorgarh, May 27 (Udaipur Kiran) – Keeping in view the heavy rush during summer vacations, North Western Railway has decided to increase additional trips of the Mysuru-Madar-Mysuru weekly special train passing through Chittorgarh.

The train service is widely used by passengers travelling between Rajasthan and South India. The route connects six states including Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan, providing relief to long-distance travellers during the holiday season.

Passengers from Chittorgarh station also use this train in large numbers, especially those travelling to South India for work, education and family-related reasons.

According to North Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Amit Sudarshan, train number 06281 Mysuru-Madar Weekly Special will operate with two additional trips from Mysuru between June 6 and June 13. Similarly, train number 06282 Madar-Mysuru Special will run with two additional trips from Madar between June 8 and June 15.

Railway officials said there will be no change in the train’s schedule or stoppages. The service will continue to operate on its existing timetable and halt at the same stations as before.

Passengers, however, said that due to continuously rising waiting lists and crowd during the summer season, more additional trains are still required on several routes.
