Udaipur : Under the aegis of the Rajasthan Directorate of NCC, the Udaipur Group Headquarters is organizing the “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Camp” from December 23, 2024, to January 3, 2025. The camp is being hosted by the 5 Raj Girls Battalion NCC at the Bhupal Nobles Institute campus.
The 12-day camp witnesses the participation of 150 cadets from the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Directorate and 450 cadets from the Rajasthan Directorate, representing divisions of Udaipur, Kota, Jodhpur, and Jaipur. The primary objective of this initiative is to foster cultural exchange, allowing cadets from both regions to share their art, traditions, attire, cuisine, and language.
As part of the educational and cultural exchange, cadets from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will explore the historic and cultural treasures of Udaipur. Their itinerary includes visits to iconic landmarks such as Gulab Bagh, City Palace, Saheliyon Ki Bari, and the Pratap Gaurav Kendra. Additionally, they will gain insights into the legacy of Mewar, including a cinematic introduction to the valorous life of Maharana Pratap.
The camp was inaugurated by Camp Commandant Lieutenant Colonel Manmohan Singh Rawat, who extended a warm welcome to all cadets and staff from across states. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the structured training programs with discipline and enthusiasm.
Lt. Col. Rawat expressed confidence that the camp would be both memorable and educational for all participants, fostering camaraderie and learning. The inaugural ceremony was graced by officials from the Udaipur Group Headquarters, Associate NCC Officers, Girls Cadet Instructors, and supporting staff.
In the evening, the Camp Commandant convened a staff conference to discuss upcoming activities, including competitions and educational excursions planned for the coming days.
