Chitradurga, 2 September (Kiran News): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday once again raided the house of Congress MLA Virendra Pappi in Chitradurga, Karnataka. The MLA is already in ED custody on charges related to online betting and money laundering.

According to information received, ED officials searched an old residence of MLA Virendra in Challakere, Chitradurga. The officials examined documents inside the house and looked for new evidence. They also gathered details about four luxury cars parked at the property.
The ED is investigating Congress MLA Virendra in connection with a case of online betting and money laundering. Earlier, on 22 August, ED officials had raided his house and examined documents. At that time, a large amount of cash, gold jewellery, and foreign currency were seized. The ED continues to question MLA Virendra Pappi in custody. Reports suggest that, based on statements made during interrogation, ED officials conducted another search at his old house today.
