EAM, Greek FM discuss Ukraine, sign two agreements

New Delhi, March 23 : External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and visiting Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias on Wednesday signed two agreements, a Declaration of Intent on Migration and Mobility and a Cultural and Educational Exchange Programme, and also discussed the Ukraine situation. EAM Jaishankar in a tweet also welcomed Greece’s ratification of its membership of the International Solar Alliance, which it had joined in June last year. The two ministers also discussed maritime issues. “A warm and friendly discussion with FM @NikosDendias of Greece. “Signed Declaration of Intent on Migration and Mobility and Cultural and Educational Exchange Programme. “Welcomed Greece’s ratification of its membership of the International Solar Alliance. “Will work closely together on maritime issues. “Benefitted from insights on the Ukraine situation, Mediterranean and the European on,” he tweeted. The Greek Foreign Minister in a tweet after the talks said: “I signed with #India counterpart @DrSJaishankar “Declaration of Intent on Migration and Mobility between Greece and India Cultural and Educational Exchange Programme between Greece and India.”On the bilateral talks, he said they discussed advancing their cooperation in the bilateral and multilateral fields, also their shared commitment to international law, including the law of the seas, and discussed the developments in Ukraine, the Indo-Pacific and in the Eastern Mediterranean.“I met with #India EAM @DrSJaishankar “On the agenda: -advancing the multifaceted & thriving Greece-India cooperation both at the bilateral & multilateral level -shared commitment to International Law, including Law of the Sea -developments in #Ukraine, #EasternMediterranean & #IndoPacific.” RN
