
Jaipur, September 9 (Udaipur Kiran) — The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Kota has arrested E-Mitra operator Harish Mandot for accepting a bribe of five thousand rupees on behalf of the Tehsildar of Chechat, Kota. The arrest occurred on Monday.
Dr. Ravi Prakash Mehra, Director General of Police of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, reported that the ACB’s Kota team acted on a complaint. The complainant alleged that the Tehsildar demanded a bribe of seven thousand rupees through his broker, Harish Mandot, for the registry of a gift deed concerning his sister’s house.
Under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police, Vijay Swarnkar, the ACB’s Kota team verified the complaint and conducted a trap operation. During this operation, they caught Harish Mandot accepting the bribe of five thousand rupees.
