Udaipur : Dr. B.L. Kumar has assumed the position of President (Vice Chancellor) of Sai Tirupati University, Umarda, Udaipur. Dr. Kumar has been serving as a Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the Medical College of the same university for many years.
During Dr. Kumar’s inauguration, the University’s Chairperson Ashish Agarwal, Mrs. Sheetal Agarwal, Dr. Suresh Goyal, Registrar Dr. Devendra Jain and other officials were present. Congratulating Dr. Kumar, everyone said that Dr. Kumar is a senior surgeon. The university will benefit in every way from his experience.
On this occasion, Dr. Kumar said that the projects that are running in the university and other special projects related to medicine will be brought and worked upon to take the university forward. He has seen the progress of this institute from the beginning. PIMS is progressing day by day. At present, 750 MBBS and 200 PG students are studying in PIMS.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Kumar has been associated with the university since March 2015. He was also the Principal and Controller for about a year. Earlier, Dr. Kumar served in the Orthopaedic Department of RNT Medical for 20 years and then retired from RNT Medical College in 2014 as Senior Professor and Head of Department.
