New Delhi, June 3 (Udaipur Kiran): Prasar Bharati will broadcast the T20 World Cup, scheduled to be held in the West Indies and the USA, on the DD Free Dish platform from June 2. In addition, Prasar Bharati will also broadcast several other major international sporting events, including:

This announcement was made by Prasar Bharati CEO Gaurav Dwivedi during a media interaction in New Delhi on Monday. On the occasion, Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Sanjay Jaju, along with Prasar Bharati Chairman Navneet Kumar Sehgal, CEO Prasar Bharati Gaurav Dwivedi and Director General – Doordarshan Kanchan Prasad, launched a special song ‘Jazba’ sung by Sukhwinder Singh. The Secretary also launched the promo of the T20 program narrated in the voice of famous storyteller Nilesh Mishra.
On the occasion, Gaurav Dwivedi also informed about the elaborate arrangements made by both Doordarshan and All India Radio for the counting process on Tuesday. He said that live coverage of the counting would be broadcast on Doordarshan channels and All India Radio throughout the day.
