New Delhi, April 4 : on Minister of Railways, Information Technology and Electronic Ashwini Vaishnaw on Monday said the need of strict regulations to deal with cybercrimes. Speaking at the second National Conference on “Cyber Crime Investigation and Digital Forensics” organized by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) at Vigyan Bhawan here, Vaishnaw said “We need to have proper new legal structure and regulation to protect people’s peace and privacy from cyber issues. He said the world has changed, it is changing and it will change more rapidly in this time of changing the topic of cybercrime, cyber investigation and cyber forensics are very important roles. “We need to overhaul the legal structure in a big way. I don’t think any incremental changes will help, The changes have to be substantial, significant, fundamental and structural,” he added. Vaishnaw said post Covid the world has changed so much the world has changed fundamentally that the balance is now coming in the thought process of the societies. CM SY 1532
