Cong reiterates demand for free booster doses of Covid-19 in Delhi

New Delhi, April 15 : The Delhi t of Congress on Friday again demanded the Delhi government to provide free booster doses of Covid-19 vaccine to all eligible people. “Booster dose should be given to all eligible people free of cost by having tie-ups with private hospitals. The Arvind Kejriwal-led government should act on it urgently, as the XE variant of the virus is posing a serious threat to the health of citizens,” Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Ch Anil Kumar said. The government should ensure that people adhere to Covid-appropriate protocols in public places, while ramping up the RT-PCR tests, he added. The DPCC chief said that the hospitals should be kept in readiness to tackle any eventuality. His statement comes after the national capital witnessed a rise in the Covid-19 cases in the last few days. DS RJ
